Lamberies leads the way in Modified action at Outagamie
(Seymour, WI) May 19, 2023 Race Report- Outagamie Speedway Race Report- 133 racers checked to do battle at Outagamie Speedway powered by EWSC. There were 23 IMCA Modifieds, 31 IMCA Stock Cars, 30 IMCA Sport Mods, 28 IMCA Sport Compacts and 21 Unified Street Stocks.
Lucas Lamberies paced the opening laps of the IMCA Modified main event with last year's champ, Jayden Schmidt giving chase. Lamberies worked the cushion to perfection opening his advantage over second. Lamberies carved his way through lap track traffic enroute to his first win of the season. Schmidt had to settle for second at the pay window, Josh Long was third and Cody Schroeder took fourth.
In IMCA Sport Mod action it was Mathew Radtke setting the pace early until Mason Woods came storming by on lap 5. Woods led the rest of the way to score his first win of the season. Dylan Waldvogel placed a solid second, third went to Jake Carpenter and Ryan Schmidt placed fourth.
Devin Snellenberger made his first appearance of the season a successful one as he led every lap to score the win the IMCA Stock Cars. Trailing Snellenberger at the checkers was Brett Wenzel who placed a solid second, Tyler Wilson rallied to take third and rounding out the top four was Nick Strobbe.
Defending Unified Street Stock champion James Fletcher fought off all competitors to score a $600 payday.
Defending champion Ben Schulte scorched the IMCA Sport Compact field, leading all 20 laps to score the win.
